To Our Friends and Neighbors,
It is with sadness that we announce the closing of the Lewisville chapter of Lions Clubs International. We have had the honor and privilege of serving the Greater Lewisville area for nearly 75 years. Formed in 1945, the Lewisville Lions Club was an active member of the community, providing vision screenings, securing eyeglasses for kids & adults, recycling eyeglasses, hosting an Adopt-A-Spot at Fox Creek, funding college scholarships, and helping those in need. We were blessed to have so many local community leaders and advocates we called members and friends.
While this marks the end of our journey, rest assured that Lions are still here for you. There are several Lions clubs in the surrounding communities actively fulfilling the Lions motto: We Serve! We encourage those in need to reach out to one of these clubs. And for those interested in serving the people of our communities (near and afar), please consider joining Lions. With more hands, more people are helped.
